It’s easier than ever to multiply your impact with AI. Some predict that 2025 will be the year of agents. As a one-person studio, I’m always looking for ways to scale my time. While there are plenty of frameworks and tools for creating agents, it only recently clicked for me. Since sharing is caring, I wanted to share my journey!
This post covers the tools I use, the agents I’ve built, and how these workflows help me stay lean.
What Are AI Agents?
AI agents go beyond automations. They adapt to context, handle tasks dynamically, and evolve over time.
When I first discovered no-code tools, it felt like a step change in my ability to automate. They made it possible for a (previously nontechnical!) person like me to get more done as a one-person team. But no-code still had its limits—every workflow had to be rigidly mapped out, step by step.
AI agents take it to the next level. Instead of scripting every action, you just set the tools and instructions, and the agent figures out the best way to get things done.
The Stack
At the core of my system are:
- AgencySwarm: A framework for multi-agent communication that ensures tasks are routed and completed efficiently.
- Slack: The hub where I trigger events, collaborate with agents, and manage workflows.
With this setup, I use three key agents (and I’m already dreaming up more):
- Assist Agent: Handles Slack communication, routes requests to the right agent, and retrieves files from my Notion workspace.
- Task Agent: Manages task creation, updates Linear, and keeps schedules organized.
- Content Agent: Transforms content ideas into drafts and stages them in Notion for editing and publishing.
Why This Workflow Works
AI agents have shifted how I approach work. Instead of asking, “How do I do this task?” I now think, “What agent could I create to handle this for me?”
This mindset has allowed me to free up time, focus on more creative work, and build workflows that grow with my needs.
I’m excited to keep building and refining these workflows at Lunch Pail Labs and can’t wait to share more about how they evolve!
